♥ SMART Quest ♥ Tues. March 8, 2011

My SMART Quest for today:  Try and get back into the swing of things with Ageless Abs program!  We are starting up again and I feel so behind!  This is a busy month for me!  I hope I wont fall too far behind!

Sleep:  - Barely 6 hours - Went to bed after 11:00 pm  - I know I should have tried to go to sleep earlier, but I always have so much to do! Sigh!

Awoke:  5:00 am
Warm Up: 5:25 am 
8 push ups
12 squats
10 spiderman climbs
20 jumping jacks
Completed 2 rounds!

Workout:  5:30 am

Today I am doing a series of 6 Tabata Intervals based on Scott Colby's Ageless Abs Program that I did several months ago!

6 Tabata Intervals:

Heismans - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 60, 60, 60, 60, 60, 60, 60, 60 reps per round!
Burpees - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 4, 5, 4, 5, 4. 4, 4, 4 reps per round!
Side to Side Jump Ropes - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 63, 65, 65, 64, 64, 64, 65, 65 reps per round.
Mountain Jumpers - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 18, 18, 17, 17, 16, 15, 16, 15 reps per round.  Goodness this was hard.  I was really losing steam at this point!
Bowling Lunges - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 44, 43, 45, 43, 43, 44, 43, 43 reps per round!
High Low Punches -  (with 1 lb weighted gloves) - 20 seconds on, 10 seconds rest x 8 rounds - 30 reps per round (15 reps per side)

Good workout.  I was really sweating and my heart rate was way up!  Super glad when this was over.  It was nice to be dong Tabata intervals again,  I was shocked that I was able to do even more reps than several months ago and I was even stronger.  Felt great!
